Health insurance reimbursement
ome medical devices, bandagisterie products and orthopaedic articles may be fully or partially reimbursed by the health insurance fund, depending on the conditions set by the healthcare insurance system. Reimbursement depends in particular on the type of product, the medical prescription,
INAMI conditions and the patient’s situation. Certain medical devices and bandagisterie equipment may be covered by healthcare insurance, provided that the applicable reimbursement rules are respected. To benefit from reimbursement in orthopaedics, the patient generally needs a medical prescription, must meet the conditions of the service, purchase the product from an approved provider and receive a supply certificate. OrthoGreen Mobility supports its customers in these procedures by informing them about the necessary documents, possible reimbursement conditions and the steps to follow with their health insurance fund. Reimbursement is not automatic. It always depends on the conditions set by INAMI, the customer’s health insurance fund and the type of equipment requested. For any specific question, customers are advised to contact OrthoGreen Mobility or their health insurance fund directly.
Guarantees
Products sold by OrthoGreen Mobility benefit from the two-year legal guarantee applicable to consumer goods purchased by a consumer from a professional. This guarantee covers conformity defects identified within two years from the delivery of the product, in accordance with the rules applicable in Belgium. In the event of a defect, the customer may contact OrthoGreen Mobility so that the situation can be analysed and the appropriate solution can be determined: repair, replacement or another solution provided for by law. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, poor maintenance, normal wear and tear or modifications made by the customer. For custom-made or personalised products, the guarantee remains applicable in the event of a conformity defect. However, returns or cancellations are generally not possible when the product has been made specifically for the customer.
